The open radiant warmer design allows unrestricted clinical access to the infant for resuscitation, nursing care, monitoring, and procedures — while maintaining a precisely controlled thermal environment. The integrated phototherapy unit delivers high-intensity blue-spectrum light directly to the infant's skin to break down unconjugated bilirubin, treating neonatal jaundice (hyperbilirubinemia) without the need for a separate phototherapy lamp.
